課程概述 |
This seminar explores in the light of neuropsychology and the concept of symbiosis how certain nonverbal sensations may modify language based semiological systems defined by Ferdinand de Saussure. It starts with the notion, already generally acknowledged in cognitive science, of emotions guiding reasons but seeks to elaborate on the significance of imagination and moral creativity (our combinations and interpretations of emotional syntagms) in widening our horizons. It discusses how we can reconceptualize any semiological system as the functioning of our cognitive network involving both verbal and nonverbal capacities. |
